[July 8, 2025 | O’Fallon, MO] — Argonaut Motor Club is proud to announce its official entry into the all-new 2026 Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup North America organized by Team FJ, marking a bold new chapter for North American rally competition.
As part of this exciting initiative, Argonaut Motor Club becomes the first American team to join the Rally Cup and the technical partner of Team FJ to offering a complete ecosystem of rental vehicles, technical support, and personnel to empower drivers to truly compete for the North American Rally Cup. The ultimate prize? A coveted seat in a Stellantis Group factory rally car for the 2027 season.
“This is an incredible opportunity not just for Argonaut, but for the entire North American rally community,” said Chris Bauer, Director of Motorsports at Argonaut Motor Club. “We’re thrilled to join this venture and partner with Team FJ, the Stellantis official distributor and Organizer of the Cup. We can’t wait to see how far we can push these Peugeot 208 Rally4 cars on North American soil.”
The Rally Cup will serve as a proving ground for both rising talent and seasoned veterans, attracting international drivers looking to secure their place on the global stage. Argonaut’s involvement ensures a robust infrastructure for teams and individuals to race, learn, and win right here in the United States.
“We’re looking forward to the competition and the attention this brings to the North American rally scene,” added Bauer.“A massive thank-you to Stellantis for not only organizing this but also investing in the future of rally in our region. This is exactly the kind of momentum our sport needs.”
“We are very happy to welcome Argonaut Motor Club in the Rally Cup North America!” Said Jerome Galpin, President CEO of Team FJ. “Since November, our Peugeot 208 Rally4 totally dominated the 2WD class in both USA and Canada with 7 consecutive wins and were also faster than a lot of 4WD cars. We just scored an historic 1-2 Overall finish at the Rallye Baie des Chaleurs. Now, our efforts will be to support our team partners for them to provide to drivers professional services and rental packages to continue these standout performances.”
With rally stages planned across the U.S. and Canada, the 2026 Rally Cup promises to be one of the most dynamic and accessible rally competitions yet.
